Fom the begining I knew about the conjurer. She came to me in the whisperings of the coffee reader, as she turned the fine china and the shapes spoke to her from ancient kingdoms. Sparks ran through my fingers as I pressed them against the ivory keys of the old piano. In the visions of those strange characters that came as I took in the scent of the early morning fog. In the faint splotches of watercolor in the swirls and hard edges of unknown tongues. Her temperament is strange and charming, her ways warm like well worn silver. The conjurer is always with me, it takes my flesh to make it her own. My hands cast her spellwork.
